Simplified standard No. NS-048 was adopted in 2005 and modified in 2012. On this occasion, other modifications and clarifications were made to the standard, mainly on the themes of cookies, banking data and data retention periods. Excluded from the scope of this standard are processing operations implemented by banking or similar establishments, insurance, health and education companies, processing operations relating to the organization of online gambling and chance games subject to for the approval of the Online Gaming Regulatory Authority and processing likely to exclude people from the benefit of a right, a service or a contract.
